Conservative Bible Project

ConservapediaConservapedia has taken a bold new step in starting a Conservative Bible Project. I have to applaud them for their initiative here. There’s more information on their page, of course, but it boils down to making sure that there is a translation of the bible that isn’t muddled up with liberal claptrap and PC language. It turns out that all of the translations out there are liberal, but that the original meaning is conservative.  Most of the changes are with the New Testament, so I have an even bolder suggestion. The best way to get rid of the liberal bias in the Bible is to scrap the New Testament altogether.

Now, some people will accuse me of wanting to throw the baby out with the bath water, but that’s not always a bad thing. After all, that’s how we got Moses. Others will say that you can’t change the bible because of Revelation 22:19, which says that you can’t “take away from the words of the book of this prophecy”, but remember that Revelation is in the New Testament, and we’re removing that.

Anyway, kudos to Conservapedia for both identifying and addressing this issue. Who knows what we’d do without them.
